Prof. Marek Wierzbowski and Partners - Advocates and Legal Counselors is a law firm, organized as a partnership, of four partners and over twenty lawyers, specializing in business law, with particular expertise in securities, mergers and acquisitions, the restructuring of companies, privatization, corporate matters, insolvency law, banking and insurance, real estate, EU law, competition and anti-trust law, energy and telecommunications law, administrative law (including pharmaceutical and mining law) and in litigation, including international and domestic arbitration. The Firm also renders selected services in tax law.

Prof. Wierzbowski, who was previously a partner in major international law firms Weil,Gotschal and Manges and later Linklaters, established the Firm in 2004.

For four years in a row, we have been ranked first amongst Polish law firms in terms of the number of IPO's completed (rankings published by the stock exchange’s daily paper "Parkiet” since June 2007 ) The last ranking showing our leadership was published at Parkiet of May 28-29, 2011 for the period 2010 –till May 2011. In the Deal Watch rankings for 2009, the Firm was ranked fifth among law firms acting in Poland concerning M&A transactions (ex aequo with Linklaters and Gide Loyrette Nouel). Currently Deal Watch puts at a the 7th place in the ranking concerning number of serviced M&A transactions, done in 2010.
We are listed among other top firms by major international rankings and directories (Chambers Europe, ILFR, Legal 500).

The Warsaw Stock Exchange has granted us the titles "WSE IPO Partner - Primary Market Leader", "WSE Partner for SME" and "New Connect Authorized Advisor".
