Kamilla Pomorska, senior associate, legal counsellor, she is a recognised expert in Polish and EU competition law, consumer protection law and sectoral regulations (telecommunication, railway transport). She gained her experience while working as high position official in the Department of Competition Protection and Department of Consumer Policy in the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection [UOKiK]. Specialist in the area of administrative procedure and the procedure for appeals from decisions of the President of the UOKiK and other regulatory bodies. She a co-author of commentary to the Law on the Competition and Consumers Protection, edited by C. Banasiński and E. Piontek (Lexis Nexis), and a member of Competition Law Association. Kamilla Pomorska also conducts trainings and workshops in the area of competition law and consumer protection.
In the Firm she manages the practice in the area of competition law, consumer protection and telecommunication law. Her experience includes i.a.: conduct of proceedings before Polish end EU
authorities for competition, as well as before sectoral regulators, assessment of projects for their compliance with competition law in order to minimalize risks involved; analysis of relevant markets; as well as representation of clients in the area of so called private enforcement. In the field of consumer protection law Kamilla Pomorska experience includes conduct of proceedings before President of the UOKiK regarding infringing of collective consumer rights, proceeding before the Court of Competition and Consumer Protection regarding recognition of provisions of model contracts deemed illegal, advising on unfair market practices, act on consument law, misleading advertising and abusive clauses. In the field of telecommunication law Kamilla Pomorska specializes in issues related to the protection of end-users’ rights, inter-operator cooperation and regulation of the telecommunication market.
